So this was a crazy exciting weekend. It started with a trip to Fan Expo, which started with getting a picture with the one and only William Shatner. I got the chance to say hello to Captain James T. Kirk himself. Is there anything cooler than that? I didn't think so.
I also got to sit in a viper right out of the OG Battlestar Galactica, which is pretty cool. I mean how many people get to say that? Oh, and I met Keith David!!!!! One of the nicest guys you could ever meet! It was everything you would want out of a con. It would have been a perfect day, but for the fact that later that night, some psycho started shooting at the pool right outside my apartment, while it was full of teenagers and kids. Luckily no one was hurt, but the act itself was pure evil. Who the fuck does something like that? Sunday, I woke up at the ungodly hour of 7:30 so I could get to set. I missed the first day of production for this episode of my friends web series because I was sick, but I'm glad I got to make it out for day two. We filmed out in the fabrication yard and I got to design one of the coolest shots of my life. The camera goes through a hole in the wall. It's the type of shot I've always wanted to set up, and I finally got the chance. I can't wait for the episode to come out so everyone can see it! Overall, it was a pretty exciting weekend, it feels nice to start living again.
